Can anyone tell me what these soft squishy jelly like things are in my Barra and silvers tank areImage

In my experience, those are baby snails before they've grown their shells.

Your mileage may differ...

Those look like pond snail eggs to me. Aquatic snails are a healthy part of the ecosystem but make sure to keep the population in check. Usually they end up being fish food before they get very big. Pump impellers and snails do not mix.

Naked jelly beans!

I've never seen them before, very weird looking, but interesting. Google images seems to line up with them being pond snail eggs as Chiumanfu said.

they are definitely snail eggs.

depending where you are and your attitude, they are either a good thing or a bad thing.

they will eat rotting material and some algae, they do also eat the leaves of healthy pond plants, but this is unlikely to affect you.

They can carry parasites, like all snails.

Thanks all I think they must be aquatic snail young also as I do have snails in the system, funny thing is that they were only in the Barra tank so I have put some Silvers in there to see if they clean them all up
