I bought a plant yesterday and am rooting cuttings. Wondering if I can plant it in GB's.

Hmmm I'd be interested in this... I distill my own spirits and stevia can be used as a (diabetic) friendly sweetener. I'd love to grow my own

It's supposed to be easy to propagate thorough cuttings. I hadn't seen it for sale before. Looks kind of weedy...very spreading type growth. If pruned frequently, it should get a bit fuller. It's amazing how sweet the leaves are. Almost a saccharine type taste.

A popular hardware store used to sell it, but the plants would get stripped bare from all the people sampling leaves. I haven't seen it there since lol

works well in my GB, it has a dormant period in winter (adelaide) but just starting to sprout again, the leaves are amazing

Cuttings are doing pretty good. Hopefully, get some in a GB shortly.

We grow quite a bit of it around the yard, The missus uses it instead of sugar. She takes cuttings and has no problems getting them started. It also self seads quite easily.

I have had it for many years it does tolerate dry conditions and does go dormant in winter,hard to grow from seed.

I am a newbie to the Aquaponics, would love to see your setup and get some advice from you if you were ok with that, I am in Mawson Lakes SA

Stevia growing well here from cuttings. Vee tolerant to the heat. This is my first winter so I'll see how it does.

Does anyone know where I can find stevia in Perth Western Australia?

Just got some stevia seedlings from the B in SOR Perth. Sometimes you get lucky...

I bought 10 plants from Lowes hardware store a few weeks ago. Put some in the ground, and some in the AP. All doing fine so far.

Is the stevia growing alright in the Aquaponics?
Just bought a pot and has 3 plants in so will try both dirt and aquaponics.

I found a plant at Dawsons Garden World in forrestfield.

Doing great in the AP, just flowering now... Do these plants fertilise themselves?
