My system is finally running well. Yesterday morning I checked it and fish were doing well and plants are growing. Yesterday when I got home, I had 6 dead fish. Tested water. Ammonia and nitrites were 0, ph was up from 7.6 (where it's always stayed) to 8.2. I have added more oxygen capacity, cleaned bottom of tank as it looked like there was old food building up under a small net I had put in my system for the tiny fingerlings to swim in (since my last tiny ones got eaten). I have removed the net now.

This morning, 4 more dead fish with 2 or 3 others looking like they're going to die today. I don't know what to do. I researched a lot on the internet last night. Some fish look like they have small white spots, so I'm thinking maybe its that "ich" disease. When I pull them out of the water though, I don't see the spots as much.

Should I try salt? I know the pH needs to lower.

I see 2 fish off by themselves in another part of my 110 gallon tank. The other day, I did notice a couple of the fish (all mine are still little) up at the top swimming, which is rare for my catfish.

Here's a photo of 3 of the fish I found dead this morning.

Well, I obviously don't know how to post a picture. Hmmm. I tried but it didn't work.
