Wow, didn't even see that. Yep, the 25 for $66 is under the "packages" section

They had a silver perch package a while ago.

Its good as they cater for people who want reasonably small numbers or may not have a hatchery within driving distance.

Hmmmmm? Barra or Aus Bass?

no question for me, barra would have a shorter season here than jade perch!

C'mon take a hit with me on the bass ;)

They didn't say how big they were?

Bass appear to be slow growing, so I figure they're a year long prospect.

Given their range of temperature tolerance that's obviously not going to be a problem.

Anyone know If they will mix with Trout in winter? Say if the 25 would grown out over a year, with a season of trout in winter...

cant say. They'd both want to be similar sizes as i'd say that the smaller of the two would "disappear" :)

I couldn't see them being more than 4 or 5cms long.

I was thinking of setting up yet another indoor tank (maybe a 3 foot) and monitor their growth over the first month before putting them outside. will work well as then i can swap in the largest two trout to become indoor fish ;)

Might have to make it a policy that the largest of each fish species (2 if they aren't angry fish) get to live out their life as indoor fish along side muzza the cod ;)

You got a chiller on that indoor tank Steve?

Thats a good idea... Once the big tank goes in my inside bream will go outside... the monster barra... well dunno... I don't have the heart to eat him, now he is trained...

25 Australian bass in a 6 foot tank would look cool. Hmmm many ideas...

They'd want to be as big as Muzza if they going to live at al
