My jades (fingerlings have been in the tank for 6 days now but I've never seen them feed. The minute I move the cover they bolt for the corners and huddle behind the vertical pipes I have there.. 1, Is this normal behavior? 2, would some pipe sections on the floor of the tank help? 3, will they eat from the tank floor? |

I haven't seen my fish eat yet and I've had them about 2 week's. I'm not all that concerned. The fish are still active and my water tests haven't raised any alarms. What's your stocking ratio? I have 4 fish for 55gallons. With more on the way. I'm adding a 50 gallon duckweed pond / DWC. |

I have had my jades in for 12 months and they will still not come to the surface when the lid is open. |

Not a problem this time, they fed on the surface, in the middle and some were hoovering up food off the bottom. I think its the bright sunshine hitting the surface thats making them skittish. |
