+1

The towers and spacing of the IBC's make it look uncluttered (which may change once the plants take over).

Been getting a little cooler at night, FT has dropped from low/mid 80's to upper 70's/low 80's. Will get holes cut in sign board and net pots in soon. going to try and germinate lettuce directly in pots. Will work on getting doors framed and b/u 12V power as well. Strawberries looking much better with more water flow in towers. Waiting for peppers to get better root system before putting in GB's. A few tomatoes planted, and seem to be doing OK. Comparing with plants grown conventionally for rate of growth, production, etc.

Scotty, I will add a few more towers, and then fill the DWC up with greens. Should be a little "fuller" in a month or 2. Fish are small, but growing. Thinking about adding some crayfish to DWC and prawn to sump/FT...but many things to accomplish before those happen.

Pretty sure it won't win any awards, but seems to be coming along fine. thanks guys. Now, if this freaking hot weather will break, I can try and grow something besides peppers and tomatoes. I would really like to put in a 2500-3000 sq ft one in my old nursery area. If things go good, who knows. If not, I'll have some fresh food for when the zombies come.lol That was in reference to a friend who called me a "doomsday prepper" because of the new AP system.

Very nice!

Was it tricky to get the towers throttled?

It looks like a couple of towers are draining to a rain gutter then back to the IBC? Whenever I see rain gutters I think of this, you could drain the towers to a rain gutter then use the gutter as a reservoir for some wicking buckets: http://www.youtube.com/user/larrylhall?feature=watch

still working on getting the right flow for the towers. right now, it seems like more is better. thanks for the note on the gutters, might try that.
