30 new rainbow babies and I put 10 of the bigger ones in the big system with the silver perch and catfish and the rest in the empty ibc system.
The ones in the big tank fed well as you can see but the ones in the ibc tank were not interested. Maybe they are getting used to 1 metre deep water after coming out of shallow races.

I miss having trout :(

I think i enjoyed feeding them more than i did eating them.... And i loved eating them :)

Just went out and lifted the lid of the ibc and scooped the corner where floating food settles and no pellets, so I guess they figured it out. Dark here now BTW :)

Interesting obs with the trout in the IBC. Keep us posted. I would have thought it would be the other way around.

Trout in the ibc are feeding but only with the lid closed which is a bit odd.
