Hi Andy,

Also looking at alternative eating fish, was going to try perch but im worried about
My pond liner being punctured by their spines!

i can get them in yorkshire greenanchor but the prices are very high and they dont deliver and i dont drive so wouldnt be able to get them home. so plumping for orfe which i can get delivered for just over a quid each.

Yorks a bit far for me, otherwise I would :)
Have you eaten orfe before? I imagine they are a lot like carp???

yeah theyre a carp species. wild carp can be a bit bland and muddy but thats not so much a problem with farmed carp ive heard. ive eaten orfe once and it was nice. theyre concidered a delecacy in some parts of asia
