Dropped a few Silver Perch fingerlings up to Sydney today... Rup, take a look at the Aust museum paper which I have hopefully linked below. It is a review of all the Euastacus spp in NSW, with distrubation maps and keys. Yep... I'd basically narrowed it down to those two.... but couldn't decide... I've flicked the pics to a couple of the gurus of Australian crayfish... |

Agree it is unusual but hey, Ive found Marron in Kalgoorlie and they are definitely not supposed to be here. I actually worked out last week that the species I have found here is actually the hairy marron variety... which are almost extinct. Strange world. |

How does an almost extinct animal taste? Maybe you should try and breed them to increase the population? |
