I know this is asked over and over....
But what fish should I get? I have a local supplier for white and blue tilapia as well as bluegill, yellow perch and some others.

We're putting the AP system in a half-greenhouse I'm constructing. The other half will be enclosed wood and insulated. Planning on a mass heater/rocket stove for heat. So I don't think heating will be the problem. I'm afraid of it getting too hot in the summer time. Where I'm at we can have a huge fluctuation in temps. From over 100F in the summer to 10F in the winter.

So what is a heat resistant fish that can handle cold snaps?

I know bluegill wouldn't mind the heat too much. I got hybrid bluegill (Crossed with God only knows how many different types of panfish) in my system right now and I've had the water range from 78F during the day and drop to 56F at night (Been having some weird weather for florida lately). When I went outside to feed them in the morning, they didn't seem to phased by the water temp too much. Problem is that they are a slow growing fish.

the tilapia won't handle it when the water drops under 50..
yellow perch will stress if the water gets into the 90's..
bluegill can handle the extremes better, but are slow growers.. look for "local" stock..you might want to try polyculture of yp and bg, (more than one species) to see what performs better.. and give yourself a year of seeing what kind of water temps you have to deal with

You might also want to consider channel catfish. They're not terribly demanding.
