Hi,
is it possible to supplement trout feed with live worms? Is there a limitation and does it provide much protein? thanks for any help. Paul

Trout will smash live worms and almost anything else that moves and will fit in their mouths :)

There are many live/alternative feeds for your fish and worms is a good one. My Perch love them. Just remember that many of the alternative feeds are really only good as exactly that... an 'additional' feed... and not a sole food source.

you can raise live bait, minnows or carp, additional insects like fly, mozzy, and any arthropod you can find/breed.
