SwampCreekFarms,
Do you know where?
I am curious in regards to grow-out, temp tolerances etc...
I am currently loving my tilapia as I have not been the best husbandman  and they tolerate less than ideal environments well...but the color of those brim are pretty amazing.
Thanks,
Brian

Redbreast are excellent eating. I never saw that color form. The natural color form is more beautiful IMHO. Really deep red along the bottom with green along the top.

They can be caught in the winter time in Ga in the deeper water but you have to fish slow and deep. I do not know the temps but I imagine theyd be along the same as bluegill.

few different types of fish, i have never caught the yellow kind, but most redbelly i can catch out of my creek or ponds all year long, i'd like to stock some around here some day

i think every one has a different name for all of these fish, stumpknocker, redbelly, shellcracker, warmouths, theres a bunch of different names for these panfish/bream

let me know if you get some, i'd like to know how they do

thats the exact same picture as this guy has on his page too.. hah
