Hello everyone! Everytime when I take out a couple of my blue Tilapia out of my IBC to place them into a breeding tank (50l) they play dead.. I end up putting them back into the IBC because they dont swim, they dont feed. Any ideas? Im always trying to get a male and 2 or 3 females. But they just dont do anything. 4th try now this week. Usually I put them back after one week cause I dont wanna loose them / kill them. Got an inside filter powerded by air (maybe to noisy?), heater on 28 degrees. Got some 100mm pipe in it as well for them to hide. Was thinking of trying a different filter or maybe also a bigger tank. Anyone else who made similar experiences? |

Greeting to the forums.. Just a simple question.. Are the water conditions the same in both tanks.. That maybe why they don't like the other system.. Juergen |

No, true that.. Its a different system.. But the guys do seperate the breeding couples. Clearly it must be possible. And even after a week which should be more than enough time to get used to it they still do the same! Nothing! |
