I see green algae on my pond walls, should i stop feeding my talapia till all that green algae is gone?

I would say cover the tank to prevent sunlight from making it worse and let the Talapia eat the algae off the tank walks.

I do have duckweed in my pond, should i take it out, also should i brush the algae off my pond walls so it floats around in the water. We also let go a bunch of small tiny'er fish, hope the tilapia dont eat them...
