Hi there, [ new to the forum]
I have about 40 trout of different sizes. Mainly Browns.
They were the last bunch from the Trout man out of the Ferguson Vally. Got them in June.
I exspect half of them to migrate to my smoker by Mid-October.
However there will be at least 15 which will not make it to plate size by then.
As water tempratures will be rising by then, I am afraid that they will not survive the warmer water. [ I know they can handle tempratures up to about 25-26 degree C.
But they won't be happy campers by then.
Anybody interrested in taking these of me early October?
There might be people out there who have their system in a cool spot or a deep enough dam?
Drop us a line.

Cheers Madofish

Where abouts are you madofish? If you are close to Ellenbrook perhaps you could put them in my tank and I will grow them out for you. My system is a little over 6000 litres in volume and wont heat up as quickly as a small system.

Browns are slower growers than rainbows - don't think you're going to have a lot of luck there.

Thanks for the reply guy's

Will take you up on growing them out. I live in Willetton.
What is the best way of getting in contact , without putting phone numbers on this forum?

My system is 2400ltr with 1200ltr ogf growbeds.
40trout 35 Silver perch [mixed sizes]

Hoping to get Barra for the summer.
Can get them by Mid November but will be small 55-100mm.
Probally to small to keep my plants growing at the rate that I am use to.

Anybody knows where to get bigger one's?

How can you add a picture to your profile?

Cheers Madofish
