These few goldfish are providing the nutrients for our indoor system which currently has ferns with fronds that are two metres long :D They don't eat much, keep the tank clean and share with a couple of small marron.

You can see the panel of clear/opaque sheeting in the phot below, which allows some light to filter through to the plants. The fish are very friendly and provide an alternative to edible fish if you get sick of harvesting and eating fish all the time :lol: Although I believe they may eat them in some countries.

Question, can I mix small goldfish and fry tilapia in the same tank? I need to do this because I am waiting for the IBC system to cycle so I can move the tilapia to the FT.
