Ahhh Haaa, the mystery is solved? Did ye pee in the pool ELL?

Damn - got sprung!!!!

Funnily enough, I sat down and went through all that happened that day and what I saw

The only thing that stuck in my mind was the pump used had a sponge filter, which was left in, "H" pulled it out and rinsed it, it had a lot of gunk built up in it. I know we have talked about it on the forum and that they would restrict the solids going to the GB but would they start to harbour bad stuff that could impact on the fish health?

I don't think so Les. Some of us have had PH problems when we were operating with fingerlings in our aquariums due to filter becoming too dirty and the rot that ensues - but that's about all.

Ther is however no need to have the sponge in, and if H has not taken it out already, he probably should.
