I'll try and find out on monday and post findings on here :D .
Tarmac, not sure how far they are along with it and even if they have fish to sell. My friends uni lecturer didn't even know bout it, so don't know what the chaces of fish are. But still worth a try.
So tour date? Maybe Sat Nov 14th? Of course it depends whether they will do it on that day and even if they will do it on weekends. Not sure if there is a cost involved, but if there is i'm sure it'll be small :D

Just phoned Aquaponics on Warton Rd (lot12) 1800 640 222 and the guy I spoke to said I should phone back in a couple off days and speak to Delia, they might get some barra fingerlings from over east. They obviously dont have any atm otherwise I would have taken them.

Ah yeah... now I remember... he used to be a hydroponics shop... and has an online account on eBay & Option.... sells seeds more than anything...

Don't think he actually has any aquaponic systems... but could be wrong... and I don't think he'll be sourcing Barra from the East coast... certainly not before mid November...

If he's lucky... that I know for sure... after today...

Coz I've got dibs on anything between now and then...

Are you human?: Last time I looked

I have been into their shop a couple of months back and they had one AP set up going with some Barra they had kept over the winter. The rest of the set ups were all Hydro. I had a chat with the guy at the time but he didnt seem too interested in the AP and had very little equip to suit either. I am surprised if they are supplying fingerling but then maybe they are just jumping on the AP bandwagon :D

Maybe we should remove his AD for ethical reasons also, but the Broome Tafe idea seems the best so far

I know this one. Last year when I was pricing stuff for a system, I phoned them. They are a hydroponic shop. Just starting to branch into aquaponics.

Then I ran into a guy online , that was ment to a guru..knew everything  . He was knowlegable about aquaponics....but a gerk, ( so I stopped communicating with him )
AND he was setting up a system for them :geek:

Aquaponics WA is just on the main road outside my place. They mainly specialise in hydroponics (Hydroponics Express). I have been there probably a few months back now and yes I don't think they knew too much about aquaponics back then. Probably just one system setup, but still the information was not too great once you asked a bit more. I think their strengths are in hydroponics.

In fact, that's how I found out about Backyard Aquaponics. The guy at the store took Joel's book out from a cabinet and showed it to me, and told me that Backyard Aquaponics was just in a few suburbs away. Well I am not sure whether at that time he had no intention in selling AP, but from that gesture, it seems like he was recommending business to BYAP instead...
