Never fileted a trout before and the first one got a bit butchered but I got a lot better on the second

Gee whiz, you guys, those fish all look very healthy. Have I mentioned how pleased I am to see people harvesting and enjoying their fish rather than leaving them until its way too late, only to say my fish are dying. Far better to determine it for them. :)

Pulled 4 out this morning to smoke. 3 were all about 370g but the big fella went 600g, got to be happy with that in 5 months

Nice Fish Boys....90 minutes in the smoker is a long time Mantis. I butterfly mine and only cook them for 10 minutes and then let them sit for 10 minutes before removing the lid. None the less I'm sure they tasted great.

Caught out 28 today, the smallest of the lot was 400 and the biggest 694 and weighed 15.2kg in total.

My dogs have found a new treat.....mmmmmmm Trout guts
