for the record the SP were the last of the shite batch purchased from kanga (feel free to read my thread) they were to be my summer crop and harvested before the trout, but there were issue with the lot of them.

just as the current crop of trout will be harvested before the weather gets too hot for them........

anyway, good luck with the 8Kwh. i find it takes around 2.5Kwh to maintain my indoor marine aquarium of 350L @ 25C during winter.

oh, and i'm heating one of my 4 rooms, and that is with a reverse cycle system with a COP of 3:1 ie 1kw in 3kw heat out. computer room is quite chilly, but the extra typing keeps my hands warm.

AP does not have to be about energy efficiency, but i think that many people here strive to have a system that draws as little power as possible. but hey, its a free country and energy is still cheap :)

Can we burn the whales in the powerstations instead of coal?

The would probably have a fairly high carbon content :D

Back OT - I am loosing a couple of the SP each day now - I think due to the cooler weather....Hopefully just the weaker ones, then they settle down.
