That might work out OK for me. My DH's sister has been asking us to visit for a while, and I'd love to see your system. :D What suburb are you in?

Also, Sorry for the slow replies, the last one took more than 30 min to write! My computers being unbelivable. If I could strangle it, it would be dead by now! Can't work it out, keeps freezing for no reason and 3 anti-virus's can't find anything. The wonders of modern technology!

good link, thanks bro...................something interesting that I found

"However, Morrissy (1973) conducted research in WA which showed that the rainbow trout strain maintained at the SWFRAC (Pemberton, Western Australia) has an increased ability to tolerate higher temperatures than stocks in eastern Australia, so data for interstate and overseas trout populations may not be directly applicable to trout stocks in WA. At the SWFRAC, rainbow trout feed in water temperatures of up to 23 o C. "

maybe i need to import WA rainbow trout lol

I think from a good old discussion we came to the conclusion that high DO (saturation) would get you away with a higer temp

BK, I like your idea, just tell them it's an indoor water feature! Any idea how many trout you want?

C1, I'll keep that in mind.

Steve, Will post as soon as I know. How long could you hold mine for? I'll need to organize when to come down and I don't want them to wear out their welcome. How crowded will you be?

i have 550 litres in dads system. probably easier to keep them all in there for removal purposes.

I'll be checking ammo readings every day so that won't be a problem.

I can feed minimally too.

What sort of hold time would you require?
