Yep, and the Blue-Eyes wont eat frogs eggs or tadpoles.... self breeding....

I'm picking up a hundred on Monday as I swing past AquaBlue..... (and some Yabbies)

P.S... for Steve and others.....

No Mussels until maybe Mid June.....talked to Neil today..... water level is still too high and they're going to be in the middle of their Bass spawning, grading etc....

Mid June earliest he says...

done your homework as usual rupe, but they sound like the go, and skygazer aquablue seafoods are pretty helpful and freight to WA is dear, but if it's what ya want ya gotta pay, but if going through aquablue drop my name (Paul from Narrogin) will get me some brownie points, Neil is the man at Aquablue, if you keep mentioning this forum (and me) he will discount heaps as well

I have 200 ordered mid June, how did Yabbies Taste rupe :P , have posted elsewhere and am getting some western pygmy perch this weekend, they grow to about 6-10 cm, better size to host mussels i feel, and love mozzie's and a bit of algae so sound ideal

Anybody know of a good south-eastern fish for to be having with mussels? Also will yabbies eat mussels? That would be unfortunate...

Kuda, neil from aquablue has yabbies living with Mussels and no problem he say's, Marron have not eaten mine as yet, and I have 2 big males, so I would say no, I am going to try western pygmy perch as a host, they grow to 4" and eat mozzies, there is a eastern pygmy perch as well but no info, I would guess the western one would be smarter  :drunken:  , sorry couldn't help my self, but this link http://www.nativefish.asn.au/southern-pygmy-perch.html tells about a similar species to west and eastern the.....southern pp
