Which they did :) Low 20 deg c water temps on arrival. This was on a very cool day, so if transporting that distance in barrels/ibc on a sunny day - ice would be required.

There is already a thread on this, Gnash and I took 100 trout of the same size for 8 1/2 hours in 200 litres of water.

weight of the fish really matter but i know how big trout are at a given inch.

anyway, i got 75 6 to 8 inch trout they were bagged up 15 trout per maybe 15 litres but with pure 02 in the bag.

2 hrs was the trip time and they were at their limit.

you can prolly get away with a 20l bucket with an air stone for your trip :)

If you can use say 2 10 L buckets with airstones it would probably be better

and keep them dark, chuck a towel over the bucket.

hello

my trout supplier said that i'll be ok with 20 L of water for all the fish with a water pump(i asked him after i posted)---> i could have just pm'ed troutman, but didn't remember that untill now hehe :)

the drive takes about 35 min if you drive slowly, i think that there shouldn't be much of a problem, but still these trout seem pretty delicate and i reather ask more

good day!
