I have five now! Do you have a problem with Barra? My clips only show what I have done so far, they are not meant to tell people how to do things but just what I have done so far, as for clips I post from other sources, its easier and a little less hostile to show where I got the information from rather than try to defend it? I have found so far I get extra negative attention no matter what I post? But when I see a post sitting there for hours unanswered? I feel the need to a least give the limited knowledge I have at my disposal to at least bring the post to others attention! Its working so far!

Now if you all concentrate on the question Kij2 asked instead of me for once? He may just get a better answer than the one I provided? I doubt it! But its worth a shot!

Wish I had a dollar for every time I heard someone tell me they "read it on the internet" or "I saw it in a YouTube video". I try to avoid both of these, because like Stu said, they are so often inaccurate. I prefer scientific journals and experience from people who have walked the walk...years of hands on experience.

Stuart I am not completely dumb, I do take a good look at the advice then add logic to what they are saying? In the clip above she was caught off guard with a low KH? And in her new clips she was caught off guard again with her Nitrate test? After doing the ammonia and Nitrite test she says there is no real reason to check the Nitrate as the over two test were nil? Then she did the test and it was almost off the scale?
When I first saw the split flow system I first thought that wont work as you are just sending fish poo back to the fish tank? Then I added the filter to take out the fish poo as well as the algae and any uneaten food, the filter holds its own bacteria same as the grow beds, all my PH and other levels are constant, PH 7 everything else 0, its all getting used, and I know there are nitrites and nitrates in my system because I added them when I do the water changes from the aquariums inside, I just use logic!
