Throw on the wader's.. Walk out and use a Bait net.. The soft small whole's.. Say 5-10mm you want to keep the fish safe..

Or Better still go to the AusKoi Forum and Post there..

I'm keen as! I'm pretty handy with a throw net, but don't have time till late November. Keen to catch some yabbies too if anyone's keen.
