Lol yah am going to Tocal, I've never seen yabbies there before though? Oh well must look harder. None of the dams round here have yabbies, I've tried catching them so many times, but ahve never managed to come up with anything but dragonfly larvae.

Lol no I always get stuck at some of the more crowd pleasing demonstrations like the one a few years back where they were exploding stuffed toys out of pipes... Now that was fun LOL.

Well if the bait shop costs to much will def try and find the yabby stand at tocal, were going up on the saturday.

I've got a yabbie that doesn't seem to eat anything. I swear it hasn't touched anything I've put in there and it's been alive for months. What the hell does it eat? Algae maybe?

I caught about 25 yabbies in 30 minutes in quite literally a puddle at the reserve at the end of my street. I guess because they have no predators in there they're breeding like rabbits.

Do yabbies produce the same crap as fish? Or is it different because they eat differently?

Don’t know about fish crap, not yet.
First thought that one of my yabbies lost its feelers (antennas),
long but in a spiral, like a very stretched springs.
Only after seeing that all of them were OK, I realized that’s what they leave behind
after a good feed.

They do shed their shell every now and then too. Could have been the first step in that process?
