I lied, the pics were taken 2 days after, when i went back!

Ponds were at about 6C

The dog had found a rat and was threatening to upturn the piece of concrete.

The operation is a complete flow though, water is diverted from the river into the grow-put ponds and then back out to the river.

So, Monya, got anything that you could put a few thousand trout fry into?

Will check when he last logged on. Nothing spectacular in their setup, pretty common way of doing it. I think thats why Our scottish friend wanted to incorporate AP to strip nute out before return to the river.

Point taken Steve.... I'm assuming then that they operate under an old license.... are they required to monitor their outflow at all?

Wonder how much natural filtration/nutrient removal occurs through the vegetation alongside the raceways?

Steve, now you know what to do with that empty space in your back yard. That way you don't have to mow it. Just leave enough room for the BBQ.
