Just wondering if its too cold here in winter. Where I live it can get to -3•C at night but I have my tanks in front of a north facing brick wall half buried so I am hoping the temp of the water should be partly stable. 4.5L tanks.

Ok thanks rup might try golden perch and trout then. Got my tanks on the ground and getting stainless grow beds fabricated as I type. Turns out they're heaps cheaper to make new than buy plastic tubs are to buy from large chain hardware stores. Will hopefully have some pics for posting next weekend then I might be able to contribute.

Well that's a bit depressing. I can't seem to source rainbow trout, its too cold for barra and emerald perch and golden perch don't like tanks. Is silver perch my only worthwhile option?
