Hopefully we dont get scorchers in the next month....looking unlikely...but you never know.

When would be the normal time for trout? 1st week of March?

dont worry about silvers, I am in north east Victoria, got fingerlings 40mm long in Jan 2010, they hibernated in winter when the water temp was 8 degrees, but making up for it now, see pic, about 200mm long and enjoying the life of Riley, well that is until they get plated up! Water temp currently 19, has been up to 23 earlier in January
cheers
Rodney

Have rolled the shadecloth right up to let sunshine on my growbeds all day. Hoping to get the tank temps up a bit and maybe some better plant growth.
I bet the fish is pissed that you pulled him out at feeding time :laughing3:

yep - covers coming off tomorrow. caught a few silvers an they are around 8-10cm so smallest have more than doubled in size in 3 months. Beautiful shaped fish with a lovely silver colour. No pic does them justice.
