when I was a kid growing up in papua new guinea we would catch fish that I recall looked a lot like "nemo" and cook them up whole - guts - heads and all - on little fires started with strike anywhere cowboy brand matches. We would use rubbish and plastic for firewood. Yum:)

I was never short of a friend because I had the only endless supply of pins to bend for fishhooks
