Can anyone shed light on the status of Cal DFG deliberations on tilapia in Northern California? I read that DFG were "re-evaluating the tilapia ban" for closed systems but don't know how true that is, and if true, what the outcomes were. I live in NorCal and am hoping to raise tilapia in my AP system on a small scale (consumption for family & friends).

Sorry, Zeke. I haven't heard anything. You might consider trout (great fun!) or catfish (can handle our winter and summer temperatures.)
