 Post subject: Fish breeding

Location: Western Australia
ok so not really AP related, but my tropical gourami fish have just bred, and i have 300+ babies in a little breeding tank :thumbright:

BUT never done this before, so any tips for young players?? im guessing breeding fish is a generic thing, and not expecially breed specific. .

It can be very species specific. Most gourami's have the same basic requirements, hatchling brine shrimp are a great start and there are many commercial "fry" foods that are usually easy to find and your LFS "local fish store".

Congratulations, what type of gourami are they?

cheers guys. not 100% sure on the breed, i believe they are known as jewel gourami's :)
