yabbies are a bit of a challange I prefer marron myself have dabbled with them in 3000ltr tanks for about 5 yrs now learnt real quick the pros and cons once I lost 10kg of them wife was disgusted with the waste of life and money but hence my eyes were opened from it. I change my water each week by 5% with new water added and also have aeration via air pumps not (big as got burnt there too) but small aeration pp's sell here for about $24 last 2 years successful and fingers crossed will go ok again with my new line.

ive got 2 in a sump atm, bloody dirty little buggers. i clean the tank every 3 days i rekon. marron diefinately better
