Hi all,

Due to various reasons...tardiness, laziness, procrastination...etc I need a firm date that I should work to getting my system up, running and cycled.

When will other members in this forum start stocking for their summer growouts?

I am looking at stocking:
Silver Perch or Golden Perch - crop
Tandanus - cleaners and maybe crop
mussles and yabbies/marron - cleaners and maybe crop

Heck...when do people stock trout for the winter growout in Melbourne?

Start yesterday! Why wait, the sooner that you get started, you may even be able to try a few trout first up. They are my favourite because they are fun, fast and entertaining. Follow with your warm water fish. It is not really about dates, this is nature, get a floating thermometer in and start getting to know what your water temps are.

Due to my various shades of slackness....will be a while until I have water pumping in the tanks...wont be able to do trout unless they are well advanced...
