Get in while you can....

For those in Perth and surrounding districts who are thinking about silvers you should get into Golden Ponds and get some silver perch before the weather cools down to much. Silvers are more prone to problems if you relocate them in the cooler months.

We bought some about 4-5 weeks ago and they are growing like crazy, I reckon they have doubled in size. And they are a bargain at 50c.

How big is that tank and how many have you got in there?

I love the first pic too.

About 2000L and we have 500 in there. For the moment, it's not permanent housing for them. I don't think we have lost one fish out of the 500, though it's hard to do a head count. :)

I'd rather count them than name them :)

You might want to call them to confirm the price before you go down to Golden Ponds, I went this afternoon and the small SP in the aquariums inside were $3 each. I guess supply and demand has put the price up, especially with people buying 500 at a time! haha.

was that only to buy a few Wavey? Someone had the breakdown of prices on here before but I don;t know where. I think it was something like up to 50 is one price, 50-100 another price, then 100 upwards were 49C each... I think it was something like that...
