I don't know if i asked this before but is 100 trout going to grow better in 20000 litres than 50 trout in 1000 litres with all the other parameters the same

Probably... because the other parameters aren't the same... like filtration, oxygenation...???

In that amount of water you'll have oxygen to spare... and a degree of tolerance to filtraton, unless you really try hard to screw it up....

So you can feed the hell out of them....

Unless you've got really good filtration and aeration.. abd probably some to spare of both...

50 in 1000L is going to either limit your feed rate... or put you on the edge of your filtration, oxygenation... and water quality...

100 trout in 20000L... is 1 trout/200L..... 50 trout in 1000L... is 1 trout/20L...

I think he may have meant to say 100 in 2000L not 20000L

My Trout have not been as big this year, and I think it is due to them being in a small tank, pretty crowded.
