I got them locally at the local fishing lake They are about 12-14 inches long.

Anyway its cheap enough and its a good test to see how they do heh... I can also get bluegill, catfish and bass. YAY.

Why?

I guess they died from stress :/ tasted damn good though

They had to pull them out and measure them for cost.. I had to catch them with hook and things like that.. The ones that are alive are good and strong though

If you had to do it again Slicer.... get one of those "catch and release" bags.....

You add water.... weigh the bag and water.... catch your fish and put them in the bag.... weigh and subtract inital weight of bag+water.....

Bags can be sealed and often have an attatched tube that can be connected to an air pump..

Pro fisherman and fish comps use them....

Trout are oxygen dependant.... and like most fish suffocate when they're out of water... as their gills are to heavy to support themselves in air and crush down on themselves....

Trout's dependancy of lots of oxygen just make them more suseptible probably.... and remember trout prefer cool/cold water
