this year's silvers at glenwaters are a dollar, which is a bit dearer than usual. Irrespective of quantity as well.
Anyone up there having much luck getting golden perch onto pellets?

Paid $50 for 100 SP fingerlings from the hatchery, could have got for a lesser qty for the same price/fish...there is a range of hatcheries in a 100k radius from me with prices ranging from 50c to $1.50.

I have had no problems with the fish or service from Sunland hatcheries, so will remain with them

VB - I'd be spending less than $5 in fuel to buy from these guys, they literally around the corner from me. I think I'll have to check the quality as you said but being new to this I don't think I should be too fussy with my first batch of fish. So long as a few survive I'll be happy. trial and error I guess, but this forum greatly reduces the chance of error.
