Location: Sonoma Co. California
The last desert iguana died at work (the local junior college) , so I've been given leave to convert the tank to an aquaponics system! The tank is maybe 70 gal (265L), and will be the fishtank. I'm thinking of setting up the growbeds above the tank, but I need to find out how much counter space I'll be given. The classroom gets good light to the south, and I'll be able to rig lamps if I need to.

I'll be teaching ecology in the fall. Anyone used an aquaponics system in a classroom setting? The class is a new prep to me, so I'm open to ideas.
