My system is an indoor four season food supply for my family. I am trying to perfect it so that it can be replicated in an average basement or garage. I use recirculating water, perennial plants, various aquatic animals, composting worms, insects, nematodes, and biochar to create a mini ecosystem.

The system eventually should be capable of providing a self-generating food supply as well as repair the exterior landscape through soil creation. My intent is to use as little outside system input as possible. The end goal is to close that gap to zero through practical experience and research. I also seem to really like getting my hands dirty and feeding the fish.
