Gday all, well finally sent in all the paper work to the council so the green house can be lagit, so its all on hold till the council gets back to me, they said it may take six weeks... its gunna be a long six weeks i think

yep, was wating for the big lecture but they just advised not to go any further till the paper work went through. ive got one tank so far which i`ll set up just with a few fish in it to start up the bacteria in the filters, break in all the new gear so to speak

There not too bad if you keep them in the loop. Just slows everything down.

well still waiting for the reply from the council so i thought id start to construct my growing troughs, decided i would build them out of fiberglass since i did a bit in my teens, hoping its like riding a bike. they`ll be 2.4m long by 1250mm wide and 350 deep, and ive made them to join together i.e. recessed edge at one end plus end pieces to suit that way i can change the length from 2.4m to 18.7(includes overlap at joins). I`ve got one mold made so far and will make the first finished product next week if all goes well :cheers:
