Hey Hydrophilia,
We were afraid to get our tanks contaminated from an other tank. Speeding it up sounds great though. Have you heard of anyother tanks getting contaminated from trying to speed things up?

Not sure where this comes from Dusty (haven't read all posts yet this morning)... but if your water returns to a tank from another, via growbed or sump... then yes, things will pass from one to another...

If the subject is "speeding" up the cycling ... then it shouldn't present problems... just needs to be monitored...

Hmm....somehow I got cut off from this thread when it was spun off.

Yes, you can certainly get contaminated, but it is worth the risk....I think. Especially now that you have the fish.
