I've got two new beds in my AP system and I want them to have floating rafts. What material is suggested? I know that many of the Styrofoam sheet types are not healthy for fish or people. Any info is appreciated.

You could use a rigged sheet of polyethylene slightly larger than the tub and have a 4cm air gap between the water and the poly. The gap promotes air roots between the water and the poly which are different to the roots that grow in water. You just need the bottom 6mm of the net pot to be in the water. I haven't tried this method yet but I will be in a few months.
