how do you add pictures of your system on your profile page? I have seen this on some peoples profile and it makes it a lot easier to find

Do you mean the signatures at the bottom of the posts?

yes

if you just want to add a link to your system in your signature click...

User Control Panel -> Profile -> Edit signature

then use BB code to link to your thread. If you look in the text editor it has a URL button, if you hover over that button it gives you two example codes of how to insert URL's, the first one makes it so the URL is the highlighted link... the second one makes it so you can type something in ("My aquaponics system..." etc.) and that becomes the highlighted link.
