Here it is! The first video about our aquaponic greenhouse expansion. Many of you probably know of our geodesic dome project that I put in a few years ago...this is just a tad larger. ;-) Old thread: http://www.backyardaquaponics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=8898

It's a bit long, but I wanted to dive into some of the details on the master plan for the greenhouse expansion project. Let me know what you think!

Hiya Rob, I've skimmed thru your project and am impressed with it. I'm also impressed with what your State is willing to assist with, good on them, if only Stuart C could get the same support, but I digress...
I've been following your progress through this forum for quite a while now and appreciate that you are sharing your progress with us. :thumbright:
I am curious however, as to why you are going the stock standard salad greens and reds so to speak, it has been my understanding that you need to go boutique and value add to ensure a profit, surely the hydro market has the salad greens and tomatoes covered?
Anyway good luck and go forward, wishing you luck from Oz.

I am following you on YouTube! Already ran across your videos in the past.I have been a subscriber for a while now.

Curtis Stone has been getting weekly interviews from permaculture voices on how he makes $75k a year on 1/3 of an acre. I bet a lot could be gleaned from his knowledge. He just does normal in the ground farming on a short 7 month growing season in Canada. Farming is a business. He shows how to get the money flowing in... how to save time... and how to maximise produce/profit on soooo many levels. Just seems to sell micro greens, radish, lettuce, and tomatoes for the most part.

We're finished with all the preliminary work and will start construction soon! This is just a quick update of what's been happening over the past couple of months.

Rob, how is the project coming? Still moving forward? Haven't seen much on this or the geo dome this year.
