I started a system about a month ago and was wondering if there is anyone with an aquaponic system in North County. I'm in Atascadero. If you ain't from here then you have no idea what cities I'm talking about.

Hey, I'm not from there, but I know what cities you are talking about I've stayed in Morro Bay and SLO (no, not the FT type of SLO ) a few times. It's a nice drive between MB and Atascadero, and the 1 is a much nicer drive up the coast than 101!

Yes I am from Morro Bay and just about ready to begin putting a system together. Going to start small and hopefully expand if all goes well. Have recently acquired three 55 gal Blue barrels and a 350 gal/hr pump. Am in the process of researching more and trying to learn as much as I can before I actually begin framing up a support system for the barrels.

I will look forward to hearing what you are doing. Nice to see someone local with a similar interest.

Hey if your in MB then maybe I can show you my system and explain what I am doing. My goal is to keep it as simple and trouble free as possible. This weekend I will go from 2 half barrels to 6 then to 12. The dying plants and seeds I have planted are going gang busters!
