Looks good.

But just a word of warning. If they are pallets it was made from, they use all sorts of nasties to seal it from bugs.

You don't want rain moving arsenic (and other nasties) into your fish tank, fish won't like it much, they can be fragile.

Would probably work to replace just the boards on the side over the fish tank and then put a safe board flat over the top of the grow bed top edges and tank edges. Not all pallets are treated but I'm not certain how you'd tell - they don't want critters coming in with the pallets.

Looks very good, nice and compact. I would agree with the others there can be some nasty stuff on pallets.

Really love the look, might have to steal it for my AP system. Would it be better to treat the Wood?

The top plates are red gum not treated but the pallets over the tank might be a issue. Was thinking maybe seal them with tung oil to stop any water ingress. Either that or replace them....

Glad you like the look tho, how to build this has consumed my thoughts for the last 6 months.

Modular planter boxes on the back still to come!

Read the last line in the first paragraph of the wiki description and check your product - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tung_oil
