One of my Gold tilapia is sick. He's the first and only fish that has been sick since i started this crazy addiction. He (or she) has a huge extended stomach, which is getting larger. I believe he has stopped eating as well. His scales and other outward signs look OK. He looks like a fish that has been yanked up from the depths and is suffering from internal bloat. I'm more of an inshore guy, so I don't think that term is correct. Anyways, any suggestions to try to save this guy? I can get a picture, but just imagine a otherwise normal fish that looks like a 9 month pregnant woman, and you get a picture. Rest of fish in spa seem fine.

I would be wondering if it is an inappropriate FOOD that is causing an intestinal blockage..

Detailing the food might be a good start..

For what it's worth, and for future reference, have a look at the tables in this thread..

now there is nothing there that matches your specific symptoms, but you see that they consider fish behavior as well as condition..

I'm FAR from an expert, but I think that I would start by isolating the fish and starve it for a time ..
