Hey guys ,

I'm the Director of a Drug and Alcohol Residential Rehabilitation Program is Surfers Paradise here on the Gold Coast called Transformations. Recently ive been inspired and am in the process of contacting the owner of a vacant block next door to our Centre, for the purpose of building an organic garden to provide healthy next-to-free vegetables for the residents in our program, and to also offer them work therapy as part of their recovery. We are hoping to get approval from the land owner to rent the property (for free )!

In as much as we are a non-for-profit charity organisation and recieve no government funding, I'll also be contacting Bunnings (of which we do have affiliations with) to donate most of the supplies! (Hopefully )

While i endeavor to build Raised Garden Beds and Wicking Beds, I'm also determined to build a 10 to 15 meter long flood and drain AP System with 50-60 Jade Perch.

Hoping to bring you all along on the journey and benefit from all the amazing feedback and advice here on the Forum!

Matt, I was considering organising a meet up some time but now I think I'd end up in a situation where I might have to taper back my beer drinking which is just not cricket. Oh well, cyber buddies we will remain..
