not wanting to cast aspersions, but I thought troutman was more gentle and took more time with acclimatizing when he delivered my SP fry.

Yeah I wondered about that. He was pretty certain some chemical pollutants had found their way into the tank, but all the other fish in that tank survived. He said he'd never kept an arowana that lived more than ten years. Little Red was six, so I guess it was just the stress of the move.
